Weirdoes: Sex, Drugs, and Rock 'n' Roll is a 2008 American television show created by Austin Worthington and Ethan Anderson. It circulates around the relationship between to sides of an immortal family of aliens and wizards. One side, led by Slash Glorgson, believes that they should embrace their magical heritage to create a free-thinking world similair to the hippy movement of the 1960s. The other branch, headed by Rose Cotton, Slash's mother, believes that magical ancestry is a matter of deepest shame and wishes to never use their powers. The show has aired four high-rated seasons, all aired during 2008, which have become increasingly popular. In 2008 the show won the Wes Thompson Award for Most Interesting Televised Program, the Amanda Anderson Trophy for Strangest Series, and the Zander Thompson Medal for Most Amusing Thing of 2008.
